Sarah Murolo

Sarah

Sarah is a happy girl who loves to read, play with Barbies, listen to music, and do Girl Scout activities. When the weather is nice, she enjoys riding her bike, jumping on the trampoline, and camping.

Sarah has a pathogenic SHANK2 mutation. From a very early age, Sarah had developmental delays. She struggles mightily with focusing and staying on task and has severe ADHD-like symptoms. She also has learning disabilities and needs extensive help with learning and schoolwork. While it might take her a lot longer than her neurotypical peers, she can learn! She also has an amazing memory.

Sarah’s family is constantly working to make sure she has strong support services to help her continue to learn and grow.
